Call Connector integrates seamlessly with Filevine through API Key authentication, automatically capturing all client communications. Every call is logged as a Note in the Phone Call category, with recording links and AI legal transcriptions embedded directly. The integration requires both a Contact and a Project to log any events, ensuring all communications are properly associated with active cases.

How It Works

Setting up the Filevine integration takes about 10 minutes. You'll need to be a Filevine Account Admin to generate the Personal Access Token (PAT) required for this connection. It's best practice to create a service account for the PAT. You'll also need your Org ID. Once you have these, paste them into the Filevine connection form in ion8 Connect's App Authorization tab, and you're done.

Once connected, Call Connector captures every communication in real-time. However, Filevine requires both a Contact and a Project to log any event - this is because every record must be associated with a Project, and each Project must be associated with a Contact. If Contact Creation is disabled and no contact is found, Call Connector won't be able to log the event. When both are found, calls appear as Notes in the Phone Call category, SMS as generic Notes, and faxes as Documents - all within the appropriate Project.
